Making a Steady Effort to Drive Higher Value From Every Conversation

Fathom, the AI meeting assistant that transforms conversations into actionable insights, has officially announced a series of product updates, marking the company’s largest expansion till date.

According to certain reports, the assortment of updates arrives on the scene bearing direct workflow integration with Asana, AI-powered coaching tools, public API access, botless recording, and a lot more..

Talk about the company’s new solutions on a slightly deeper level, we begin from Asana. By integrating directly with Asana – a project management platform, Fathom basically makes it possible for teams to manage tasks, projects, company goals, and strategic plans all through a unified avenue, thus enabling its users to seamlessly turn Fathom’s meeting insights and action items into trackable tasks in Asana.

Next up, we must expand upon the company’s Coaching solution. Here, Fathom employs AI Scorecards to simplify the process of giving consistent feedback, tracking performance, and scaling coaching across the team. Not just that, the solution also allows Fathom to grade calls against configurable scorecards, something which treads up a long distance to generate time-stamped notes, and therefore, enable leaders to jump right to coachable moments.

Another detail worth a mention is rooted in the introduction of Public API. The stated Public API empowers users to leverage Fathom’s meeting data wherever they need it, and not just within the Fathom app. As for possible use cases, the applications involve an individual who wants to streamline the day’s activities, a client building custom internal workflows, or a partner seeking to integrate for mutual customers.

“These updates are an exciting milestone in our journey to unlock maximum value from every conversation. Fathom is no longer just another AI tool – it’s the partner that drives how teams capture, share, and act on conversations,” said Richard White, founder and CEO at Fathom. “We’ve built a platform that instantly turns what is said in a meeting into action across the entire tech stack.”

Fathom also took this opportunity to share plans regarding several new features that are set to go live in the near future.

These features include Meeting Capture without the Bot. Basically, the solution will arrive pack together both video and audio options so to capture meeting content on both desktop and mobile devices, while simultaneously extending the types of conversations in which Fathom can summarize and act on. The said types include in-person meetings, huddles, and more.

Beyond that, the company is also set to launch its expanded Ask Fathom: Featuring a ChatGPT-like interface, the platform offers an easier pathway to synthesize, recall and take action on meetings. Under the planned expansion, though, it will enable users to ask queries across all meetings. For better understanding, previously queries were limited to individual meetings.

Anyway, the natural language tool will further become account-wide, again delivering an update on the limited six hours worth of calls. To go along with that, search trackers will also enable easy to curate insights from calls, as well as flag future key trends.

The development in question, markedly enough, builds upon Fathom’s stature as the market leader in AI-powered meeting intelligence and platform for organizations ranging from individual consultants to Fortune 500 companies. You see, the company has, till date, raised $27 million in total funding, including a recently-concluded $17 million Series A.

Led by Telescope Partners, this round saw further participation from seed investors Maven Ventures, Character, Active Capital, and Rackhouse Ventures. Not just that, Fathom’s strong user loyalty has also fetched it more than $2 million in crowdfunded investment across two rounds.

“Together, these updates help bring to life our vision of the future – where meetings become the backbone of organizational intelligence and automated workflows,” said White. “We’re moving beyond just recording and transcription to build a solution that eliminates the busy work that consumes so much post-meeting time. Fathom is committed to building AI that is human-centered, discreet yet transparent, and ultimately indispensable.”
