Gluware, the leader in intelligent no-code/low-code network automation and orchestration, has officially announced the launch of Gluware 5.6, which happens to be a solution geared towards accelerating and refining network automation workflows.Â
According to certain reports, this particular solution arrives on the scene bearing an ability to help network automation builders in the context of achieving unparalleled speed and efficiency.Â
More on the same would reveal how the given update will bring to the fore key integrations that enable NetDevOps and network automation engineers to accelerate automation, gain greater control, and extend automation capabilities across more vendors and devices.
“The network is the vital backbone for enterprise innovation, and we see every day how network automation enables our customers to move faster and achieve more,” said Ernest Lefner, Chief Product Officer at Gluware. “With Gluware 5.6, we make it even easier for network automation builders to overcome complexity and deliver results. We’re committed to providing the tools and support that help our customers drive greater efficiency and innovation across their organizations.”
Talk about the whole value proposition on a slightly deeper level, we begin from the potential for enhanced version control with native Git Protocol integration, something available alongside support for external repositories, including GitHub, and BitBucket.
This translates to how users can seamlessly integrate Gluware with Git-based repositories for enhanced transparency, version control, and backup/restore of Gluware constructs, such as Audit Policies and Config Models. Furthermore, they can achieve updates to a local Git repository or effortlessly synchronize with external repositories.
Next up, we have expanded support coming into play for a variety of technologies. These technologies include, for starters, the HPE Aruba EdgeConnect ECOS solution, which can now access critical key Gluware capabilities like Device Manager, Config Drift & Audit, Network RPA, and Topology.
Gluware’s Arista EOS Enhanced Discovery can similarly enjoy expanded support to package together component-level information for lifecycle management and hardware inventory reports.Â
Another technology that stands to benefit here would be Meraki Device Filtering, a solution set to receive new filter mechanisms in Device Manager to precisely control Gluware inventory. Not just that, uyou can also define user rules to exclude specific Meraki devices for focused automation.
Gluware will also facilitate enhanced switch port management. Here, users can effectively leverage a new library within the Config Model Editor to achieve streamlined and improved switch port configuration.
The same can be said for Cisco Catalyst 4500 ISSU Support, where one can enjoy In-Service Software Upgrade (ISSU) capabilities within OS Manager for uninterrupted operations on Cisco Catalyst 4500 switches.
Anyway, as a part of the given development, Gluware will also introduce Network RPA Template Builder. The stated innovation boasts all the neccesary means to accelerate automation workflows with real-time testing. You can also test and iterate variables and LiquidJS templates through live workflow context.
As a result, you can define, load, build and edit until the desired outcome is duly achieved. Once that part is completed, users can instantly sync the updated variable or template with their workflow.
Rounding up highlights would be the access to Enhanced Platform Usability, which will be achieved on the back of Intuitive Device Details Navigation and Centralized Third-Party Integrations.
In the former case, users can come expecting clearly labeled sidebar tabs and an enhanced layout provide swift access to reach upon organized device sections with scrolling flexibility.
As for the latter, it packs together a unified tab capable of simplifying management and configuration for Cisco API Services, Git repositories, NetBox, ServiceNow, and SMTP.
“Gluware 5.6 is designed to remove the barriers that slow down network automation, giving network automation builders a comprehensive suite to work faster and more efficiently,” said Michael Haugh, Vice President of Product Marketing at Gluware. “With new Git integration and expanded support for Arista, Cisco and HPE Aruba, we’re making it easier for teams to automate large, complex multi-vendor networks and integrate with existing tools. With this update, we’re helping customers reduce manual effort, accelerate project timelines, and achieve greater operational efficiency.”
